Fante rapper Pappy Kojo had two nominations at the just ended Vodafone Ghana Music Awards with his hit single 'AY3 LATE' which features Sarkodie. * Barbershop: The next cut - The comedy movie that stars Ice Cube and rapper Nicki Minaj raked in $6.1 million by the end of the weekend.

* Mother's Day - With mother's day approaching, it's no surprise that this movie is at number 4 with $8.3 million.

* Keanu and Snow White and the Huntsman sequel The Huntsman: Winter's War are on the 3rd and 2nd positions respectively with $9.4 million.

* The Jungle Book - The man cub and his jungle friends are still reigning in the Box Office. The movie that stars Nigeria's David Oyewolo and Kenya's Lupita Nyong'o as well as first time actor Neel Sethi as Mowgli has grossed a whooping $42.4 million at the close of the weekend.

The annual The Met Gala also known as The Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Benefit took place Monday night in New York with the finest of celebrities patronizing the red carpet of the event. Singer Beyonce wore a body hugging peach coloured gown which was a vast contrast to the scandalous diamond encrusted see through gown she wore last year which many thought she was naked underneath. Truth is she was wearing a nude bodysuit so you didn't see what you thought you saw.
