This week's Box Office Top 5: Captain America: Civil War makes huge impact on the chart

You're welcome to your weekly Box office top 5 chart. This week saw Captain America knocking The man cub out of the 1st position. Here are the top 5 highest grossing movies:*

*KEANU- At number 5 this week is the action comedy Keanu which made $3.4million.

*THE HUNTSMAN: Winter's War- The adventure fantasy movie has made very disappointing progress as it never made it to the number1 on the chart. The star studded sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman is at number 4 with $3.6 million.


*MOTHER'S DAY- comes in at number 3 with $9.0 million and stars Julia Roberts among other veterans.

*THE JUNGLE BOOK- The man cub and his animal friends are at number 2 after being knocked out of the 1st position by our new entry. The movie made $21.9 million.


CAPTAIN AMERICA: Civil War- Our new entry this week is the third movie in the Captain america franchise, Civil war which ended the week with a whooping $181.8 million. The movie stars Robert Downey jr., Scarlet Johanson, Jeremy renner, Don Cheadon and Chris Evans as the Patriotic hero.

My top 5 best outfits at this year's VGMAs

Last saturday's VGMAs saw a lot of glamourous outfits on the red carpet, well not all of them were glamourous. Talk about model Hamamat Montia's yellow outfit which was totally inappropriate for such an event. Last year model Belinda Baidoo went berserk in the worst kind of way. Well here are my top 5 best outfits: Actress Naa Ashorkor who co-hosted the VGMAs is at the 5th position with her second outfit which was a white long sleeved jumpsuit with some shiny details. Mzvee made a very significant improvement over last year's silk gold dress which looked unironed to a beautiful body hugging red gown with gold embroidery covering it from her chest to just above her booty. If i am unmistaken, then the 4th position is perfect for her. Joselyn Dumas comes 3rd with her red jumpsuit with a half of a dress covering one side. The outfit accentuated her body very well and made her shine. Tv and radio personality Berla Mundi who also hosted the red carpet is at the 2nd position with her fabulous white cut out gown with her hair pulled into a simple ponytail. Gospel singer Gifty Osei was absolutely glamourous in her diamond embelished dress with a see through cape also diamond encrusted which according to her, her stylist put together in a day. I'm sure no one will dispute me if i place her at number 1.

Pappy Kojo gets trolled on twitter for no good reason

It looks like what happened at the VGMAs did not stay at the Accra international conference center as folks took to twitter to throw jabs at fante rapper Pappy kojo because he didn't win in any of the categories which he was nominated. Funny thing is, people didn't tweet about El who won the Artiste of the year award as much as they did about Pappy Kojo who didn't win any awards. Most of the tweets seem to suggest that the rapper is only popular among shs students who are being misled by himself because of his popular hastag #YI_WO_DROSS (take off your panties). #VGMA2016 :Here's what i think about Sarkodie's performance

Last night at the VGMAs, award winning rapper Sarkodie performed a couple of his songs on his hit album Mary. But before i continue with my submission, i would like to say that it was absolutely horrid of Sarkodie to not have personally accepted all three awards he won. I mean how long does it take for a man to get dressed? And his performance was hours away!! Now back to my submission, i admire Sarkodie a lot because of his achievements and i think his Mary album is absolutely awesome, but (you know something bad is coming when you see 'but) i have a huge problem with the rapper's performance last night. First, i need to ask 'is Sarkodie gradually quitting hardcore rap?' If that is so then Mark Okraku Mantey has been Vindicated because the Sarkodie we used to know isn't the same person right now. Now to the problem i have with his performance last night. Truth be told his 'MEWU' performance particularly was boring. Let's be real here, Sarkodie is not a soul singer so why was he even using a microphone stand? Plus why was the band playing at such a slow tempo? I do understand if you want to alter a few things here and there but that song is perfect at the original tempo and i don't know if many of you realized this but a greater section of the audience were sitting during Sarkodie's Performance with Akwaboah. The last subject i'll touch on is that the performance would have been more lively with a couple of traditional dancers like in the video because there is a bit of adowa in the beat. Like i said earlier i do admire Sarkodie a lot however, if he's contemplating quitting rap which has taken him to places, he should rethink because he's not a great singer but then overall it was an okay performance just that the mewu didn't thrill me, also his energy was kinda low last night.
