If by now you are not familiar with the ongoing debate over whether gospel singer Brother Sammy had an accident three weeks ago or not, then here's some gist.
About three weeks ago, Brother Sammy allegedly had an accident which he thankfully survived and was back on his feet a few days later. After his ordeal, the singer decided to hold a thanksgiving service at Bantama Assemblies of God church to thank God for his life.
However, when the flyers\ posters of the event were released, FIPAG PRO Michael Ola claimed that the supposed accident might have been a publicity stunt, his reason being that the picturer that were released after the accident looked different from the one on the flyers.
This led to Brother Sammy calling out and raining curses on the FIPAG PRO during a live worship session on a radio station here in Kumasi which went viral.
The PRO of Brother Sammy, Romeo on saturday in an interview narrated that, 'the accident happened around 2pm when they were on their way to perform at Sefwi. He continued that there were four people in the car including the singer who was driving and that after the accident, he called Selina Boateng who was about a minute's drive away and they came to take him and Brother Sammy who was unconscious to the hospital. He also showed the panel members Xrays of his broken arm which he sustained in the accident' and also said that the gospel singer regained consciousness around 8pm'.
In another recent interview with Luv fm's Austine Woode, Mystikal, a radio presenter at Liberty fm in Sefwi who sat in for the regular host of their entertainment show revealed that, he was interviewing Selina Boateng live in the studio when he got the news of Brother Sammy's accident. He also claimed that before the show ended at 4pm, Brother Sammy came into the studio for an interview and he didn't see any wounds or cuts neither did he see any bandages on him.
Though certain pieces of this story don't fit well, the summary of the whole saga is that yes there was an accident, but then it may have been overly exaggerated.
But honestly, there are no minor car accidents and the singer was not wrong in wanting to Thank God for his life.
