This week's Box Office Top 5: The Jungle Book gets kicked out



You're welcome to your weekly Box Office Top 5 where we take a look at the highest grossing movies over the weekend.

At #5 this week is the comedy movie NEIGHBOURS 2: Sorrority Rising which closed the weekend at $11.4 million.

At #4 is the third sequel in the Captain america franchise CAPTAIN AMERICA: Civil War with $20 million.

Coming in at #3 is Red and his fellow birds in THE ANGRY BIRDS MOVIE grossing $24.5 million.

The mad hatter, the red queen and Alice herself are back in Wonderland in the sequel to the fairytale adaptation ALICE: Through The Looking Glass which ended it's opening week at #2 with $33.5 million. The movie stars returning casts Mia Wasikowska as Alice, Johnny Depp as the mad hatter, Helena Bonham-Carter as the red queen and Anne Hathaway as the White queen.

Topping the chart this week is the highly anticipated XMEN: Apocalypse which features both the older and younger versions of the mutant superheroes. The movie jumped to the top of the chart at the end of it's opening week with $79.8 million. It stars famous characters like mystique, Prof. Xavier, magneto, Jean Grey, cyclops, jubilee, nightcrawler, storm and many more.
