Featured: Voice of the Voices
Music they say can heal the soul, soothe the mind and calm the nerves, but it takes a grdat voice to be able to give the best music you could ever have. Here in Ghana there are several people with incredible voices. Among them are:
EFYA
Jane Awindor popularly known by her stagename Efya is one of the female artistes who has put Ghana on the map when it comes to music. The afro-pop singer was nominated last year at the World Music Awards for Best Female Artiste and Best Video for her song 'Best in me'. She has also won the best female vocal performance at the VGMA's consistently for the past four years, isn,t she amazing!
IRENE LOGAN
Irene Logan was the winner of the maiden edition of Charter house's Stars of the Future and it's pretty obvious why. With a voice like her's you could win anything from American Idol to Xfactor. The beautiful songstress has quite a number of hitsongs to her credit including: 'Run Away', 'I dey for you', and the popular 'Irene and Jane' featuring Jane Awindor who is now known as Efya.
RAQUEL
RnB artiste is also one of the best vocalists in Ghana today. The 'lovi dovi' singer who is often times based in london has songs like 'sweetio' featuring renowned Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie and quite recently 'i wont cry' and was also featured by okyeame Kwame on the hitsong 'woara'.
MZVEE
Fast rising dancehall artiste Mzvee first hit our screens as the lead singer of the all female group D3 but she later decided to go solo and i must say that it was not a bad decision. She a very incredible voice which is equally good on the ears. Among her songs are: 'harmattan', 'borkorborkor', natural girl and a personal favourite 'my time'.
